forget-me-not lane
A few years ago, we moved into our little acreage in the burbs. Chris and I wanted some land for us to spread out and enjoy a less stressful, more enjoyable lifestyle. No where is "cheap" to live anymore and living close to all of the conveniences makes the lifestyle we were looking for less attainable. A coworker of Chris's was getting ready to sell their little place and somehow, Chris talked them into working with us so we could make our dreams come true. We moved into our little 1912 farmhouse in November 2021 and have been fixing it up and enjoying our little life here ever since. To understand my love of forget-me-nots, you'd have to know my mom. She and my dad were high school sweethearts who collected and identified flowers together across the state of Colorado. Nana loved those forget-me-nots and when she passed away from multiple myeloma, forget-me-not became the perfect motto for keeping a special woman's memory alive and with us throughout the years. Our long, narrow property has a sweet little road that connects our paddocks and Chris and I have affectionately called the little dirt road, "Forget-me-not Lane."
Nikki has been photographing clients, friends and family in the Denver area for the past decade. She knows and understands importance of capturing memories through images.
In her free time, she enjoys painting and crafting and recently started selling her hand painted Christmas ornaments and other goods.
Forget-me-not Lane brings our life together into one place, where we can share our adventures, our life on our micro farm, Nikki's photography and crafts.
